    i’m allergic to cats :/ reactions are just like those (but only if i’m really long time in a room with a cat, or if I pet it and don’t wash my hands after it) so annoying, because i really love cats, it’s my fav animal in the world!<3 And I really want my own cat but we live in a small house so it could get too disturbing with the allergy.. we may still try to take a kitten.. i’m not sure.. I just love em so much i cant watch all my friends having cute cats and not have my own.. 8(

    @nofiction yeah my friend has 3 cats and it get’s so bad at night because i sleep on a blow up bed really close to the floor and i think im alergic to its sirliber because they lick there fur then drop it only thing that gets me through the night is flu tablets and vicks vapour drops and i feel sorry for people who own cats with allergy because to be honest i could not handle feeling like this every day and the worst thing is it basically cripples you from doing anything because you nose and eye

    i think is a wonderful idea to have a cat house cause your allegy can get really bad if they are walking around the house thnk god i am not allergic to any animal i want to be a vetenerian

    I´m alergic to my cat too but i love him to much to give him away, what i do is take some alergy medicine when it gets worst and not leting him sleep on my bed anymore. at leat try to keep him out of my clothes, towel and sheets..aslo bathing him on regular basis is a good idea

    I have a mild allergy to my cat Sebastian, but if I dont rub my eyes im fine. I found this out because I petted a cat and yawned then rubbed my eyes then became very itchy, I just took benadryl.

    Me and my boyfriend have 3 cats we’ve adopted. I am allergic to them! I wake up every morning with my eyes swollen, running or stuffy noses, etc. I love them but suffer greatly as well.

    Hi lovley cats u have there i had 26 once but now i only have 9 cats and i am highley alergic to them aswell scince i was 2 years i had cats next to me an i was allways a sick child but no1 knew it was the cats and then when i was around 10 my mum gave my 6 cats away because i was allergic but when i got my own cat when i was 16 she kept having kittens and i couldnt bare to part with them anyway i have also found that ad the years even months go by my symptoms get worser

    I have it too and it just makes me crazy. I usually end up with a swolen face, fever, running nose and red, itchy eyes. Nice ! :)
    I would probably like to have at least 3 cats :)
    Dogs and guinea pigs make my face itchy, if I get them close to my face, but I can live with them. And rats are perfect for me.
    Life is complicated. Blaah

    Maybe try Raw/ all natural cat/human diets?

    I was considering taking allergy shots for pet dander so that one day i can own a cat or dog. I hear it you have to take the shots every week for at least 4-5 years before you become allergy free. I wonder if it works. Does anyone know?

    i’m actually allergic to pet dander which can be found on any animal…but I find if I take Zyrtec and keep the cats and dog clean they don’t bother me :)
