The series is at a standstill in volume two. Saya goes to Vietnam to search for Riku who was abducted by Charles and finds out that Chiropterans are actually humans. That's all I got out of this single chapter. She also finds out she has to kill her sister, Diva. Also included are two mini comics as well as four color pages. The series does get better, however this volume is a standstill. Still good for a 5 star review.

The entire series of manga (5 volume) is an excerpt novelization of the anime series Blood+: Part One. Since it fills in no gap, provide no new character development, so unclear what's the point of this other than to make $ off the fans.

All I have to say is, if you're a Blood+ fan, you MUST buy this manga series, it's different from the show, but just as amazing, best cash investment ever!
