  First of all, they only test three months of hair, 1 1/2 inches worth. So, if you think you’ve been drugged before then I’m not sure if you can get away with getting the whole strand tested. According to people I’ve spoken with you’d have to go to your physician to have it done. To have a lab send out to get your whole hair strand tested. Which to me does not make any sense whatsoever that if you are an adult, even a child, and you want to see what you are exposed to “they” (whoever is REALLY running this country) make it difficult. At least VERY expensive to do and a lot of red tape to see if you are safe. I think this test is a rip off and they do not test for LSD, Spanish Fly or Mescaline. Things that are readily available and are used by the underground and nasty low lifes on unsuspecting people. Date rape drugs.

  So, I think their advertising on their product box should be much clearer. I want to know what drugs are present in my hair follicle, I don’t care when I was exposed to it at this time I just want to know what I was exposed to and then I’ll go from there. (Go to a “clean” doctor, police officer or attorney and start over from there being tested).

  The one person I spoke to at customer service was not very nice or knowledgeable.
  
  They must have many complaints I’m assuming. He wanted me to mail it back if unopened but I felt I may/maynot get money a refund and when that would be I don’t know.

  I think we have to push for better laws to keep us safe.

  We bought this product for a friend who has a child who admitted to doing drugs, but did not know where to get a kit. Their child is on a large number of prescription pills, so this might have skewed results, but, in any case, the test came up clean. This was in spite of the fact that the kid had admit to doing drugs within the past 90 days.

  The kit requires that a person cut hair from the kid’s hair with scissors that have been cleaned in a sterilizing solution and that hair be cut close to the root and from multiple parts of the child’s head. As such, it is almost impossible to do this secretly (grabbing hair from a hair brush, etc.).

  Other than this, the kit is ok. It gives you everything you need to handle the sample, except for the scissors and sterilization equipment. They give an answer online, which makes it easy and the instructions are clear.

  Keep in mind, this child might have had skewed results because of the prescription meds she was taking, but, even so, it would be a lot easier if one could use hair from a hairbrush.

  I used to express version of this product (which was super fast). But product was easy to use, convenient, confidential. I am pretty sure Standard HairConfirm is very similar. I recommend this product

  This is a great product for parents and the fight against drug use. I bought this test and had it sitting on the kitchen table when my son came home from a party. I asked him to read the packaging and said I would be back in a few minutes. Before we even tested him, he admitted to using pot and ecstasy. The results came back positive for both of these drugs. Not only is this test accurate but it is a deterant too!!!

  I was amazed to learn that there are cut off levels with drug tests. I naively thought that you get tested for a drug and if the result is over zero it’s positive, if the result is less than zero then it’s negative. To my surprise there are cut off levels. How are you to know this if this is your first experience with a drug test? If you spend an additional $69.99 then they will check at a lower cut off level – but it’s still not zero! So what good is the test?

  It was a waste of time and money as it didn’t tell me what I needed to know. I did contact their customer service department and was told that they were sorry to hear that my experience was a waste of money and that I should use another lab if I found their test to be useless. I also filled out their customer satisfaction survey but received no response.
