NIAID (the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases) asked us to create an image film that would inspire mid-career recruits to work for them. They wanted to communicate the fact that they were an exciting, cutting-edge place to be, and at the forefront of a vital industry. We created a highly visual brand that would set them apart from private-sector health companies. The film also describes what the NIAID does and the crucial role it plays in national defense against infectious diseases by using the voices of the passionate people who work there. The secondary goal was to make potential employees aware of the rich array of career paths available.
