I bought this product seeing the reviews here, and also got it shipped to India. I have used this for atleast 7 months now.

I have 4 dental bridges and using this product dint do much. Coz the basic problem is that food gets stuck in hard to reach places. Food clogging also happens on top of the wisdom tooth and under the skin/gum that covers it.

This product does not remove these food clogs.

Then I used the Inter Dental Brushes. They are amazing !

Intel Dental Brushes are thin fine bristled brushes that can unclog the worst of the food clogs. You will be so happy with you breath there after.

Check for this product called Doctor’s Brush Picks. The Docto’s brushpicks interdental toothpicks by prestige brands – 250 Ea

Tip for People with Breath Problems – Go fix the root cause – Remove clogged food with Brush Picks or Inter Dental Brushes. Finish with a Water Pik if you still need to :)

This is a great, and obvious idea: Irrigate your gums in the shower instead of the sink, using the shower water. Problem with this implementation is, for me, the woefully weak water pressure at the tip made it ineffective. I returned it within a couple days. Not only that, it reduced the water pressure for a normal shower, too. Couple the drop in pressure at both the tip and at the shower head, with the fact this unit does not allow you to irrigate your gums with a mixture of water and mouthwash and or hydrogen peroxide, and you get something that I consider a failed execution of a great concept. I hope they take the profits and reinvest in correcting all these issues. Then I will try it again. In the meantime, back to the reliable Waterpik.

I water pressure is very good. I can probably use it to clean the corners of the shower if I want to. The product works like it was intended but it’s not what had in mind. At the beginning it was hard to get use to the tingling inside my mouth. I can tolerate the tingling now but I it is still uncomfortable. The material has this hospital odor that impregnates the entire bathroom. I will probably return the product.

The concept of the shower type water pik is a good one but I miss the pulse, it works but it takes a lot longer to remove food from in between teeth.

My husband has pre periodontal disease and I recently had a bridge put in. I enjoy flossing my teeth but my husband despises it! We have been using the oral irrigator for about a month and I can’t believe the difference! It feels as though I have dentist clean teeth every day! My husband enjoys his showers and uses the irrigator every day in the shower and I no longer have to nag him :) The pressure can be adjusted which is welcome. I floss everyday but realized that I was not flossing effectively enough because for the first couple of days of using this, I could taste grossness when spraying under my bridge. I have discontinued flossing and only use this… I no longer taste that grossness, I really feel as though it cleans more thoroughly that if I was flossing. My husband no longer has bad breath and he has nice healthy pink gums! My husband also shaves in the shower and uses the irrigator to clean his razor after each use… he loves it! Can’t wait to go back to the dentist and both have a clean bill of dental health!
