Easy to Use
Just wrap the cuff around your upper arm, and with just one touch of the On/Off Start button, the monitor auto inflates for quick, easy measurements. An automatic memory feature allows you to capture 21 readings and save them to track the readings over time.
The large LCD panel shows both blood pressure readings and pulse rate simultaneously. If you have a reading above 139 on Systolic or 89 Diastolic, the LCD screen will flash automatically to warn you the hypertensive readings.
The Panasonic EW3106W Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor runs on four AA Alkaline batteries which are included. An AC adaptor and large cuff are also available as optional accessories.
How it Works
The DFT (Digital Filter Technology) uses a sensor to detect and isolate only the essential pulse oscillation, which helps eliminate other noise factors and leads to quick and reliable measurements. This also helps avoid over-tightening of the cuff. The monitor lights up if you are moving during a reading, alerting you to the fact that your reading will not proceed unless you stop moving. The automatic memory feature allows you to capture save readings for two different individuals, making it easy to keep track of your results.

This Blood Pressure Monitor is not worth the money. If you take your blood pressure 5 times in a row you get 5 different results that have a WIDE spread. Also, it is supposed to have a warning if your blood pressure is high. Mine has been 205/102 and NO WARNING!!! Hasn’t worked right since I got it, but didn’t want to pay return shipping. Threw my money away on this item.

I am sure manual monitors give more accurate results. For some reason, I was under the impression that this one would be a better one, but I am very disappointed. I have to take my blood pressure at least twice to get results which are closer to reality, otherwise I would think that I am dead or getting there: 143/45, 128/43 etc. Future buyers, beware.
