Carole develops allergic symptoms and fears she has an allergy to horses. She swears Lisa and Stevie to secrecy, but they worry that the allergy is making Carole an unsafe rider. Could this be the end of the Saddle Club

Horses are NOT dumb, and burrs under their saddle is not going to threaten anyones life. Yes it’s mean to do that intentionally, but becaause it’s uncomfortable. Not because it’s going to kill anyone.

Putting burrs under a horse’s blanket is cruel and could be unsafe. If it irritates the horse so much that it rolls than its obviously making the horse and rider unsafe. By doing that Simon showed that he is no better than Veronica, causing a dumb animal unnecessary discomfort to his own goals and endangering the life of another. What’s there to make the protagonists any better than the antagonists? The only difference is the protagonists say the antagonists are evil.

Stevie and Lisa did the right thing and at the moment Carole was to upset to realize that it was for her own good. Carole put herself and Starlight in danger when she didn’t tell Mrs. Reg the truth. All she has to do is write a letter to Colonel Hanson and find a horse blanket that she’s not allergic to. I guess they decided to add Hip-Hop to “The Saddle Club” to mix it up a little.
